Heat conduction occurs from the inner cylinder through the fluid to the outer cylinder. The narrow annular gap prevents convective heat flux, ensuring a relatively large pass-through area and homogeneous temperature distribution.
Temperature sensors inside and outside the annular gap enable measurement of temperature variations.
Experiments allow determination of thermal conductivities for different fluids, such as water, oil, air, or carbon dioxide.
The microprocessor-based instrumentation is housed securely, and the software includes components for system operation, data acquisition, and educational purposes.
