Description

Bio Catch is a pesticide based on the beneficial fungus Verticillium lecanii, available in 1.15% WP and 1.50% LF formulations.
It effectively controls various economically important sucking pests like whiteflies, jassids, aphids, thrips, and mealybugs in a wide range of crops.
The product does not lead to resistance or resurgence of pests and significantly reduces pesticide residue in the environment.
Recommended application is prophylactic or during early stages of infestation with 2-3 applications at 10-day intervals, at a rate of 3 kg/ha or 2.5 litre/ha.
Combining Bio Catch with Nimbecidine enhances pest control efficacy.
Its mode of action involves spores and mycelial fragments depriving insects of nutrients, leading to their eventual demise.
Tailored formulations are available for specific crops like cotton (WP) and tomato (LF), targeting whiteflies.
Dosages for foliar application range from 1.0 kg/acre to 2.5 kg/ha for powder and 1.0 lit/acre to 2.0 lit/ha for liquid.
